Taken along the down east bold coast looking out on The Bay of Fundy/Gulf of Maine.
The distant land mass is Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada, about 12 miles across the water.
16 to 19 foot seas were predicted during and following nor' easter storm "Stella" that swept up the eastern United States coast two days ago.
Arriving late I missed optimal tidal conditions. Even though tide was receding.
I watched and studied the cycles of the incoming swells for a predictable spot.
It was a perfect opportunity to play with exposure as nature provided the beauty.
Daylight was fading but with a sturdy tripod there were many exposure options.
Taken w/ 210mm at 1/10th sec , f11, ISO 50, manual mode on a full frame SLR.
If you haven't seen down east Maine,....at least take a look. Prints 24/7, framed/unframed, matted/unmatted, stretched canvases, metal, wood and acrylic display options to suit any home, office and commercial wall space. Also: Puzzles, Note & Greeting Cards, Tote Bags, iPhone Cases, Coffee Mugs, Throw Pillows, family wearing apparel for guys, gals and children. Inquires email: heresmarty@yahoo.com

Fabulous catch! Breathtaking! I have a funny story of getting caught on the beach at The Bay Of Fundy during one of its remarkably quick incoming tides! L/F
