Description
I am constantly amazed at the detail the lens captures during an exposure especially ones created of the moving ocean currents. This image was taken as stormy seas were subsiding at Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec, Maine

I agree with you Marty, at the long exposure specifically, the lens capture incredible scenes that our eyes would not be able to see them at all. This is no exception, great capture..

It's a combination of both Joseph, The long exposure records the waters movement over time while lens quality and image resolution deliver sharply what the eye does not see. Perfect makes practice ;-)) when exploring this technique.

Marty, you're not alone in marveling at the filigree-like 'threads' of surf your camera has identified in this quasi-painting! Is it the quality of lens or length of exposure that helps achieve the fine detail (I ask as a non-photographer)? In any event, may the sun continue to shine on your work in 2015.
