Rising sea smoke and granite headlands along coastal down east Maine.
Freezing air temperatures above warmer ocean currents creat beautiful sea smoke conditions.
The approaching fishing boat appears minuscule against seemingly dark islands that are actually foreground smaller granite precipices foreshortened via the lens effectively creating this illusion to the eye.
