Description
Here's another still life of my early Robin that I posted two days ago.
This Robin claimed residency in my apple tree at the height of a nor'easter blizzard a week ago and hasn't left since.
Looks like the rotten apples are agreeing with the little guy, he's looking pretty healthy and perky as he basked in unseasonal mild 50 degree temperatures today.
He looks markedly better here than that cold, chilly and snowy day he arrived.
As you can see in the photo he's eating well. There are now about 5 dozen apples remaining on the tree, what an appetite. He's gotten a bit more sociable,..today he allowed several other birds on the tree without chasing them off.
My collection of images of this Robin increases with each passing day since I started documenting my new feathered friend's arrival.
It's nice to have such a willing subject to work with.
Maybe he might just make a birder out of me yet?
This image is from an ongoing series portraying this little robin and his antics in my apple tree at my website: marty-saccone.pixels.com

Marty, my wife and I lived in Topsham, Me for 12 years and this photo reminds me of how much I miss the robins since we moved to Surprise, AZ.
