Long before the sun even lifts above the horizon the saturated intensity of the pre dawn light is not only stunning but often exceeds the beauty of the sunrise itself.
With the island of Popes Folley as a backdrop five fishing boats lie at mooring in silhouette on Johnson Bay in this summer morning coastal scenic of the harbor at Lubec, Maine.
