Artist's Description

If I didn't look in my rear view mirror I wouldn't have seen the backlight of the setting sun illuminating the fog rolling into the backside of Cutler Harbor. this evening. The wafting fog obscured and then revealed the Cutler landscape at times rendering zero visibility as the setting sun produced a golden glow in the western sky throughout each transition.
I loved how the boats at mooring slowly disappear into the glowing distant mist.
This image is part of my ongoing pictorial series portraying down east Maine's fleet of fishing boats by Marty Saccone.
