Description
A Memorial In Memory
The Lost Fisherman's Memorial Park is located in the small coastal fishing town of Lubec, Maine.
Its sculpture is a lasting tribute dedicated to the fishermen who have been lost at sea over the years while fishing in and around the surrounding waters here.
The beacon light of Mulholland Point Light takes on a vigil like significance located across Lubec Narrows on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada.
Shelly Tinker who lost her husband a scallop and urchin fisherman became president of The Lost Fisherman's Memorial Association and is responsible for curating the services of Jesse Salisbury, sculptor to eulogize in granite this memorial that is situated at the waterfront in Lubec.
Our thoughts and prayers on this Memorial Day, 2020 go out to the families, friends and loved ones left behind.
