Description
Abandoned the fishing boat "Sea Asylum" long forgotten now a weathered relic with paint peeling and wood deteriorating, propped upright on blocks exposed to the elements in a field of under brush and over grown weeds,...swallowed by time.
I've driven by this old timer hundreds of times wondering about its past while admiring the workmanship of its builders.
I get nostalgic seeing an old once productive fishing boat imagining what else has also slipped away to the passing years.
As photographers we are sometimes unknowingly historians capturing the last fleeting images of subjects now lost to obscurity,
I'm glad I captured this image before it too no longer remains.
