A weathered dory with mooring and lobster buoy cast their reflections on the glassy early morning waters of Stonington Harbor Maine.
The original image was photographed high key on white (see portfolio)
This matching reverse image on black was created to make a still life study set.
Image taken with a Nikon D800E, 500mm lens w/ 1.4 extender, 750mm equiv, 1/250 f4.0, on a tripod, ISO 200, manual setting, matrix metering.

I haven't been to Maine since I was a kid, but you're right...it does look a lot like Washington and BC, Canada.
